Stephen Kings The Stand

I honestly was daunted by the length of this tome but I should have known better. If you can be assured of one thing with Stephen King  and it's the fact that his detailed analysis of his characters is alway pertinent and poigniant but thats just me I'm no reviewr I just know what I like and this was epic.

The Stand

This is a masterful depiction of the end of days started by man's arrogance and stupidity. And that eternal struggle between good over evil. I'm sure there are some subtexts in this epic speaking about the disintegrating values of society and consumerism but I contented myself with being immersed in a world decimated a supe flue virus some of the survivors called Captain Trips.
